
The area known as Vestre Vika in Oslo were redeveloped in the 1960 – 1970s. This is today part of Oslo’s Central Business District, but houses also the Oslo Concert Hall and Norway’s Department of Foreign Affairs. These institutions, together with the larger corporations and NGO’s situated here, has had a significant influence on the chose of Public art in this area. On top, King Haakon VII, by Nils Aas.
